C. Bechstein piano company was established by Carl Bechstein in Berlin, Germany in 1853. In 1900 Carl passed away and the company was then controlled by his sons Johann, Carl and Edwin, and is presently owned by the Bechstein Gruppe Berlin Group.

This particular C. Bechstein Model B was manufactured in 1895 when Carl Bechstein's 3 sons were in control of the company. Recently completely rebuilt and repolished in Germany, this piano is in immaculate condition. 198cm long, ebony in colour, with fretted music stand and bulbous legs. This is an excellent example of a C. Bechstein Piano.
